 Abbigayle Anderson

   

Abbigayle Anderson is a singer, songwriter, actress, Tutor, Presenter, and Hostess with the mostest who has certainly proven to be another talented Australian, growing up with a family background of entertainers of allsorts; she was obviously destined to be an outstanding performer.        
 
At 12 years of age, she was acting and singing on stage with the Werribee Theatre Company. At the age of 17 she played keyboards in bands around Melbourne professionally.

She then worked at a recording studio RB-X and Ralf Carr Management and started her solo career playing just a guitar and singing covers and original songs in Melbourne and around Victorian country areas.


Abby has had the pleasure of working with recording artists and the support of many others such as Vince Sorrenti (Comedian), Brian Mannix (Uncanny Xmen), Greg Ham (Men at Work), Vegas Legend Show (Cabaret), & Phil Emmanuel to name drop a few.


Abbigayle Anderson moved to Canberra to continue what was to be another successful accomplishment. She became one of Canberra's top female solo artist before moving on to the Gold Coast. She had a couple of original songs played on QBN.FM and Country Life 91.1FM in Canberra. Abby has played at festivals, pubs, clubs, taverns, restaurants for general public, weddings, corporate and private functions in and around Victoria, Canberra, Mt Kosciusko, Resorts, Sydney, Northern NSW, Gold Coast to Nth of Brisbane and Northern Territory.

She did session singing for radio jingles and also did TV announcements at Prime TV in Canberra. She also did acting in Sydney & now in Queensland and scored feature and extra work in various commercials, movies, and films such as Bushels Tea Commercial, One Tel Commercial, Starter Wife etc..

 Her feature role in the short film "Identity" in 2006 won the Gold Coast City Council's "Shorts of All Sorts" competition. Identity was also a finalist in Brisbane's recent Fast Film competition and the Flake Film Festival held at Jindabyne in NSW. Her supporting role in the short film ".EXE" won the Tweed Valley Gone Bananas Film festival in 2007.  Moving to Queensland in 2004, Abby was also nominated for the 2005 Entertainer of the Year Awards for Clubs in South Queensland.

Abby is currently working on her debut cd.  She is also in demand with tutoring at Bright Stars Talent School (owned by Ben McPherson) teaching singing and acting. 

Her repertoire of around 460 cover songs caters to every person to a sit down listen situation or dance and sing along to a full on ..PARTY.. atmosphere.
